Learn to Sing at Bergen Bel Canto Studio
Located in Park Ridge New Jersey, Bergen Bel Canto Studio offers voice study with an experienced instructor, who has taught singing on the faculty of university music departments in the US and abroad. Singing lessons are taught cross-genre and students of all ages and levels are accepted. Special services include audition preparation, dramatic coaching including aria staging, diction in English, French, German and Italian, sessions for those with performance anxiety, and post-surgical voice rehabilitation sessions. Skype, Zoom, Facetime, Facebook Messenger video lessons are available. The singing studio uses an integrated approach, where access to a singer's natural vocal strengths, interpretive powers and musical instincts are facilitated. Singing is taught cross-genre and combines the latest scientific information about the singing process and time tested traditional techniques. The approach combines traditional bel canto technique, an old fashioned work ethic and the latest in scientific understanding of the singing process. Lessons are results-oriented to help improve the sound of a singer's voice, his or her confidence and make sure that the singer has a repertoire of music learned to performance level. As a University instructor of voice and private vocal coach to many professional singers, Lori Fredrics of Bergen Bel Canto has been a mentor to performers on both sides of the Atlantic. Her students have appeared on Broadway, in London's West End, at the The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Glastonbury Festival, at such top concert venues and night clubs as London's Cafe de Paris, The Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, The Vortex, and include signed recording artists.
